Terri Truitt

After graduating from high school, Terri Truitt pursued her love of music and the theater while attending the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. While living in the city she began her hospitality career at Danny Meyer’s Union Square Café, recognized every year as one of the finest restaurants in New York City and known for both wonderful food and extraordinary hospitality. She worked in several service positions during her ten years at Union Square.

Determined to continue her education, Terri left New York to attend the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Theater. Upon graduating, Terri relocated to California where she joined the service team at the highly acclaimed French 75 and also worked in positions that utilized her business management skills learned with her degree.

Relocating back to her native Virginia in 2007, Terri joined M&M Hospitality Group and began her tenure at Vintage Tavern in Suffolk. When the partners of MMHG began working on their next venture, Terri immediately expressed an interest in moving to the new restaurant, River Stone Chophouse. Here she oversees all hiring, training, service, scheduling and helps manage the 375 selection wine list. Terri’s love of hospitality and ability to train and coach makes her an integral part of the M&M Hospitality Group team.
